
Dmitry Polyakov
Principal Conductor
Dmitry Polyakov is an award-winning symphonic and operatic conductor from Russia. He has earned advanced degrees in symphonic and operatic conducting, composition, and music teaching. Dmitry’s background spans an extensive repertoire that includes symphonic, operatic, ballet, original compositions, and encompasses a wide breadth of international experience. He has performed masterpieces of all genres, nourishing the advancement of the orchestral repertoire and assisting with fundraising while keeping an active role in music education, community work, and outreach activities.
Previously, Dmitry served as Conductor and Artistic Advisor for the Melodies of Arctic Festival and the Musical Offering Festival, both in Murmansk, Russia. He also served as a Permanent Guest Conductor for the Murmansk Philharmonic Orchestra. Prior to that, he was the Music Director for Rococo Orchestra, Moscow, Russia.
Dmitry is married and has two children.
